Fusion is a domestic medium hair cat that I adopted from the Brazos County Animal Shelter not long after I moved to Texas. Unlike many cats, she can be very affectionate, and even clingy at times. She also can be quite nutty (my mom calls her a little demon because of her dual personality), and when she's not happy she likes to show it by peeing on any cloth she can find on or near the floor.
Despite the rumors that cats can't be trained, Fusion will come when to a whistle or when called by name, she knows the word "dinner", understands the command "get down," and she likes to play fetch and chase with the plastic rings from jugs. She is fed before any of the dogs both at dinner and, in general, when its time for treats. She sleeps pretty much all over the house, though at night she will usually either sleep beside me on the bed or, when I'm sleeping on the sofa, near my feet.
