Kyosuke challenges the leader of the Hospital and learns that the path to the truth leads to the Moon. He immediately travels to Colony No. 8, his homeland! There, he learns the horrific truth about his grandfather and a mysterious "Beta Applicon" outbreak. The revelation of the final truths comes with a painful price, and Kyosuke must now face the Flickers that he once saved.
